Hush Now Poem by Lauren Joy

Hush Now

Not a word from your mouth
Don't make a sound
The dark has come to sheild you
To put you to sleep
So sweet and so deep
Hush now before they hear you
I'm holding your hand
I'll keep you safe
The dark it cannot reach you
It cannot be found
Because it has drowned
In the noise that does haunt you
