I'll keep you safe
I'll help you dream
Hush now child
Dry your eyes
Don't let the nightmares
Make you cry

Don't fear the night
Because in an hour or so
The sun shall rise

I'm here holding you close
An I promise
That I won't let you go

And drift back to sleep

While you count sheep
