Hush Sweet Death Poem by Elizabeth Ann JohnsonMurphree

Hush Sweet Death

Dying, lying quietly naked
beneath the sun with the
wind caressing your soul.
Ceasing to breath, removing
all evil, riding waves upon
bright seawaters. Death
locks away innocent minds,
to some mourning, to some
eternal joy; hush sweet death
has arrived.
