I kept
Wondering
How much you've change over the months.
I kept waiting for you but
You were nowhere near me
And my emotions were deeply hurt.

I used
Force
Thinking you would stop
Fooling around with the guys.
Though I could hold back your body,
I failed to won your heart.

We had
Sex
And I was pleased to assume,
At last I could convince you.
Yet a moment of ecstasy and its climax
Was everything I gained, not you.

I shed
Tears
Watching you slip away,
Watching us torn apart.
But your heart was hard as stone
And your love, as cold as ice.

I still
Cared
For you as I promised myself
To love you in good and bad times.
But some promises are better to be broken
As I know, I'm holding unto nothing.
