I Always Love You Poem by Rouge Groer

I Always Love You

Your fashion has been lost in time
Your thoughts are now different from mine
Your jokes aren't anymore funny
I hate hearing it 'cause its corny.

Your choice and mine are different
We always have some arguments;
Please consider what I want
Its 2012, this' what teens hunt

I give you a frown face
Because I hate your ways
But, though conflicts do exist,
It is you I always seize.

I want you here by my side
Even our ideas don't collide.
I often may not like you
But Mom, I ALWAYS love you.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
the last two lines of this poem is not originally mine, but this is what inspires me to write this whole poem...it is so true to me the line I've read, 'I often don't like you mom, but i love you always'...sometimes, as teenager, i just think that my mom's choice for me are old fashioned and she should just consider what i want...so we two are like cats and dogs. but this doesn't mean i hate her. our ideas may not be suiting to each other but stil i love her always :)) i love you mom <3
