I Am Poem by Jay Kaminski

I Am

Back in the garden,
you weeped, I lied.
Told tails of wonder,
wonder, wonder why?

Back in the forest of Arden,
you cried, I creped.
Crept upon your weakness,
cradled you to sleep.

In presence, I weep.
I am the one who's down!
I am the one, the clown.
Yet, in the end, I reap!

I see my mind, like a kaleidoscope of imagery,
penetrating the western night, in prescience——
The western wind, rages at my locks, my curls, my flag——
unraveling and disheveling the hush deranged darkness.
I see my lives, like a looking glass of reflection,
shimmering and shining my thoughts among the starlight above——
like the ocean tide, carrying remnants of the past to triumphs of the future.
Crashing my shore, thrashing my mind.
Cuffing my peaks, cupping my leaks.

I am not who you know!
I am not who I know!
I am,
I will,
I'll always be——
Perfection.
Utter, bliss——
Forever and for always.
