Up, up, up, and away
Flying with the doves,
Gliding with the 'gulls,
Floating 'mongst the clouds.
The weight of the world wouldn't sink you,
for you're soaring!
Up, up, up, and away!
Moaning, no!
Gleaming, yes!
Forever couldn't break you!

Down, down, down, and away
Dropping like a dewdrop,
Crashing like a missile,
Crumbling, yes, so quickly.
Rising never, fading always,
sinking, yes, so swiftly.
Down, down, down, in dismay,
Pleasing, no.
Grieving, yes.
Forever a mistake, you.
