I am like a leaf
Getting tossed all around
I suffered much grief
On my way down
As I land upon others
And try to fit in
I learn from my brothers
That I cannot win
As they push me away
From there oh so perfect lives
I will go about my day
Until the great day arrives
We will meet once more
In a pile of joy
But I will be on the floor
As the one they destroy
As I crumble to pieces
And blow away
I get stuck in the creases
Of the modern day
I reach out to people
To change my life
I climb the steeple
With my kids and wife
