I Am An Historian Poem by Felix Emeka George

I Am An Historian

I am an historian, my people,
I have studied many lands,
The people and their ways of life's
The truth which was exposed to me
An Arabian's in charge
With a furred chase
The Christian in a charge
The truth that their religion
Was taken to for the Islam
For the way of life
And Asia country
For love of growth and development
Chased the Christians, and today
They are ahead of the black race
Who do not know the pride and prize
Of dignity in freedom door
In the Treasure Island
Sitting motionless and speechless against
Those who made her to believed in them.
