I am but a book
don't judge me by my cover
many can read me
but not all understand me

i have but many lovers and haters
cause I'm one a million
strong like a lion
cool as ice
but hotter than fire

I am but an individual
yet a people person
I have a heart, beautiful as a rose
yet strong as a diamond
but soft as the petal of a flower

I don't say what I'm not
I can but say what i will be
cause I'm gonna be
what i wanna be
don't be me, cause i am but me
