Where art ye now, O, assassins, are ye hatching the marshals of prophecy?
Ah, lo! Thee, unvanquished, upraised and hailing and to He, be praises bided!
Beyond a villa’s infamy detailed in hyperreligious graffiti, and ventilating smoke addled hallways,
Before my Battle, and after my Death,
I saith to ye, a bittersweet refrain of “Halo”, “Halo”,
O, My Halo!
Hail to the Halos of the bestowed Souls above,
Regulars of Societies, Empires, and Circuses let it be pronounced, ah let thy Death be Won!
And yet I ask, the ever present One, entire
When my Body Expires, and my Soul Retires unto ye, O, God,
Where then, can I Search for Life?
O I & I, by eye, to eye thru time inside
Fight and drift above the waves, to flare amid chaos and insanity ‘tis but the waning way
Desirable, for no tomorrow, sans yesterday, but God in fact, knows he made ye Strong
Just for today I prophesy, for Spirits have this thing in me and today’s a day that’s rare,
...a lock of hair, and a whimsical fling of fate hath brought me here to my demise!
And 'twas it once not twice, that brazen observations made aloft in flight ascension, lo
If ye live life aloft in flight atop a cloud how shall ye ascend gloriously to Heaven?
I hear the syphilis ghosts whisper in my ear, proverbs of import,
As I clasp my hands and hang my head, and hear their voices swirl around me,
in the Cathedrals of the Ancients,
I am a man. I am weak, too, O, Lord. But not!
Not yet do I throw off the urge to stop beating the drums of life!
Syphilis Ghosts! Joan of Arc in armors, throw down!
They tell me to throw down, Lord! And yet I have already nervously dropped my sword!
And I say to ye now, right before they drive their sword through the base of my neck,
O, God. I may be but ephemera, yet my heart is strong.
