I Am Guardian Poem by Michael Carlson

I Am Guardian

I see their pain
In their eyes
The way they move
How they act
I see it.
Creeping
Lurking
Ever stalking it's prey
I try
To protect
To heal
I fight that which cannot be destroyed
I defeat yet i fall
I drive it away
Make it hide
It is forever lurking
Waiting to strike the unwary
I follow where ever it may be
To strike back
I Am
Guardian
