କୋଉମାନେ ମତେ
ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି ଜାଣେ ନା,
କେତେ ଓ କଣ ପାଇଁ
ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି ଜାଣେନା।
କିନ୍ତୁ ଚାହିଁବି ଜାଣିବାକୁ
ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ ଆଉ
ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି କୋଉମାନେ।
ଜାଣିଲେ କି ନ ଜାଣିଲେ
କରିବି କଣ କହୁ ନି।
କହିକି ବା କି ଲାଭ?
ଅଛି ମୁଁ ମୋ ବାଗରେ
ଅପ୍ରଭାବିତ, ଥାଆନ୍ତୁ
ଆଉ ସମସ୍ତେ ନିଜ ନିଜ
ଠାଣିରେ, ମୁଁ ଖୁସ୍।

English rendering;

I know not
Who loves me,
How much and
What for
I know not.
But I want to know
Who does not
loves me
And hate me.
I am not going to
Say what would
I do by knowing.
By saying
I know not the profit?
I am unaffected
On my way.,
Let them stay
In their manners,
I am happy here.
