Heather Rhoden

I Am Here

Put the knife away.
You are loved.
Cleanse the blade of the stains.
You can be someone.

Free yourself of the knife's charms.
I am now here.
Forget about making new scars.
I have a shoulder for your tears.

Ignore all your pain.
I will take it for you.
Pretend it is not yourself you hate.
This I will help you get through.

There is no more Hell.
You are free.
You are no longer a burning shell.
You are now who you were meant to be.
