My God,
You are love,
Amazing,
Transcending,
Above,
All
In,
All
You are all.
You say that I am love,
Amazing,
Transcending,
Above,
All,
In,
All.
I am all.
I believe you.
We are one.
I am the earth,
The sky,
The sun.
All of creation,
Resides within me.
I am the land,
The heavens,
The sea.
And we,
Are perfect in you.
As the world turns on its axis,
I twirl on the dance floor.
As the suns soars through the heavens,
So my heart ascends and is transfixed.
I am love,
Wrapped around all I have created,
Like the atmosphere,
Blanketing the planet.
I am joy permeating,
Bubbling up from within existence,
Like hidden springs,
Gurgling forth in damp wooded forests.
You saw what you created.
You declared that “It is good.”
And so I learn to trust that in your image,
I too,
Can look at the essence of all that is,
And realize perfection.
I look at my life,
With its seeming beginning and end.
I see a child,
Trying to create like its father,
Seeming only to pretend.
But you see a child,
In the image of perfection,
Discovering what perfection is.
And all is good in his creation,
Simply because it’s his.
And so I say “I love you,
Father, Mother, God! ”
For letting me be like you,
Amazing,
Transcending,
For creating me
As love.
