I Am [not] An Empath

I am not an empath,
How could I possibly protect myself to lie and say;
After experiencing it all second hand,
More and more each day
And it is so overwhelming
what everyone goes through,
I see, feel, live, hear,
It's strange how I could say that I myself,
I am an empath.
