I Am Nothing But Air Poem by Nikhil Chandwani

I Am Nothing But Air

I try to picture a day with no pain,
But by killing my tears, I have nothing to gain.
It falls and falls and there's not anything to do,
It'll keep coming downhill and hammering on you,

So everyone runs into an address or a store,
Leaving me at the back as they lock the door,
At times I doubt why no one can see,
I'm not just air I'm in reality me,

Trying to smile as nation walk by,
Just waiting for somebody to even say hi,
But they just act like I'm not still there,
Sometimes I wonder if I'm not anything but air.
