I Am Silent, Nervous, Hiding Poem by G. Silver

I Am Silent, Nervous, Hiding

Rating: 5.0

I am silent, nervous, hiding,
Barely daring breathing loud.
I am desperate, stupid, stumbling,
I know crying's not allowed.

You're a trembling, perfect peach,
Faultless, guiltless, floating cloud.
You have dreams as tall as towers,
You are stubborn, thoughtless, proud.

We are secret, subtle, strange,
Tripping, stepping, slipping, sliding,
You aren't even looking, yet
Still I am silent, nervous, hiding.
