I'm a simple man I live a life followed by those who went before A well walked path between the good and the bad I love with a heart so full and care with a soul so pure I may not always know if I am right May not always stay away from what I know is wrong I try to live a life that is true a simple man living a life that keeps on turning this world is full of complications and misunderstanding too many people try to change it alter it to become what they need it to be I find myself trying to stay true to who I am and let the world and those I meet see the true me I am a fighter when I am needed a lover when I see the want and desire in your eyes a friend to help out someone who calls my name a son who tries to remember the words I was taught as a child So accept me for who I am. A simple man a gentle man a man who has flaws and imperfections a man who makes mistakes but tries to learn from them a man who will give you his heart and soul if you only ask and offer to protect it in your loving arms. I'm a simple man... with simple wishes. to love and be loved. to be happy and see that happiness reflected in the eyes of those around me. to live my life through the darkness and light. See me for who I am... care for me if you wish... but know in your hearts and minds
