I Am The Only
I am the only—Yes, I am the one;
thus my truth exists only in me.
Exposure is my choice;
Only I can let down my guard.
Power exists in me to stand;
Stand tall in the light—naked.
The outside can deplete one’s defenses,
But the mind bathes fear
And with strong will it cleanses.
Fate makes the incision,
But she hands me the knife;
So I make the decision,
The outcome—MY LIFE.
