I Am The Sinner Poem by Alena Del

I Am The Sinner

Day in, day out
conscious sedation
Eyes half closed, suffocation
isolation
Paired (desperation)

Struggling…sweet…falsification
Wear these clothes of sublimation
Now: electric raw fixation
(deliver me into temptation)

flirtation
fascination
anticipation
Invitation

Truth be told i’m far from perfect
(promises are meant to break)
Do you blame someone for wanting
Can’t i take what i can take?

If i risk this condemnation
Abdication (i am awake)
Am I grasping at Illusion?
Should this feel like a mistake?

(you are the Sin and i’m the Sinner
revelation, bring me peace
Does This feel just like Salvation?)

Does isolation ever cease?
