I Am The 'stranger'! - Poem by ANANDA GOPAN

I am a Stranger here.
It's making my skins stretch
it's making my scars stretch...

The way i see it,
It is not about friends,
or relations
or money-
It's all about losing spirit,
and hope-
and what happens when dreams dry up.
It can't be any harder than
waking up early morning
in a strange surrounding.

I walk past all the mates
step by step-
listing the ones
whom i know
But i was a total 'stranger' to them...

May be the god made me invisible,
May be they don't know me anymore.
don't know th touch of my smile,
stroke of my hands,
and the sound of my words...
so 'Why should they smile at a stranger? '
oh, am a stranger here.

Oh, God,
Everybody is leaving me
behind in the dust,
Well, then-
I am leaving first...

But it is hard to leave as a Stranger
When the world world is full of
Adventures.
