I Am Trying To Smile/ If You Go On Taking Wine As Such, In Such A Way Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

I Am Trying To Smile/ If You Go On Taking Wine As Such, In Such A Way

I Am Trying To Smile

I am trying to smile
As have forgotten to
As have somewhat complex and complicated
Living with you
In your company.
Don't Smoke

Don't smoke,
How many times
Shall I
Say to you,
Don't,
Don't smoke,
Smoke you

And even,
Even if,
Don't,
Don't so many
As it will,
It will your health,
Have you,
Have you it about?

If You Go On Taking Wine As Such, In Such A Way

If you go on taking wine as such, in such a way,
You will turn, turn into a drunkard
And society will not take you in a right way,
Will call, call you a drunkard,
A drunkard stumbling and staggering.
And falling, unable to stand oneself,
Why to destroy God-given life in such a way?
Wine is not going to serve you anyway in your bad days
Waiting to fall upon.
