I Am Waiting At The Aisle Poem by Rasanjali Nakandala

I Am Waiting At The Aisle

Heed their sighs…
Listen to the fading sprinkles of morning dew
At the onset of daylight.
Listen to the scattering petals of darling lily
With the hastening of autumn breeze.

Heed their weeps…
Listen to the blinding stars of lonesome nights
At the unveiling of the moon
Listen to the fluttering wings of mourning Nightingale
At the leaving of my love.

Taking him away from me
Keep him always smile
Never let him lament for awhile
Taking away him from my sight

Miles are away… living just another day
Through the streams of tears
Seeping from my eyes
I see you…

I see my dreams from your eyes
I am waiting… I am waiting… I am waiting…
At the aisle of lone
For the truth to unfurl.
