I Am, What Am - Poem by Desiree Bradford Casen

I am, what am?
But highschool wants to change me.
They look amd can't see.
They try to change the unchangable.
But some of them are gulliable.
Not me, I'm not blinded by them.
I can see right through.
Thier filthly, little plan.
I sometimes hurt for the one's they catch in thier scam.

You can try and change the person, that is me.
But you won't succeed.
I will stay the way, I am.
You won't bring down my wall.
I'll stand up strong annd proud, and then I'll watch you fall.
I am, who I am....
I'm the person, you'll never be.
Simply because I'm me.
