I Became Silent In Tunus... Poem by Nilufer Dursun

I Became Silent In Tunus...

I became silent in Tunus...
How much I looked for you.
I was all alone with your image
You took a step,
So did I,
As your shadow step by step
I was behind your image

At every grain of sand
Your foot print
In the middle of oasis
You're all the time.

Do you know?
I supposed true every mirage of you
I was mistaken lost my laughter
In Tunus deserts I was all alone...
With your love in my heart.

I thought to see you at every corner
In Tunus I can smell greatly your perfume
Always with your mirage.

I remembered you once more to day,
Did you beleive Can to forget about you
Or didn't he...?
