I Beg You Poem by Dylan L

I Beg You

when i look into the mirror,
all i see is a broken piece.

hiding behind a mask
that works too well.

and as soon as it's off,
it's hard not to truly break.

all i want is to be fixed.
whether it's with glue or tape.

just please fix me,
i beg of you.

i don't want to feel shattered.
i want to feel whole and joy.

believe when i say
it's not what i feel now.

I feel useless, and fake,
or like i'm trying to hard.

I don't even recognize myself.
I don't recognize this feeling i have.

Only that i have this feeling very often.
So often that now it's common.

People probably think
i'm mean and clingy.

Or dramatic and shallow.
I swear I'm not,

i'm just broken.
