I Believe In Magic (Sonnet #108) Poem by Tina Rizk

I Believe In Magic (Sonnet #108)

I wish I can halt time when I'm with you
For good moments often end at a glance
But if within our heart, sunset we view
Among the stars till eternity we'll dance.

I wish I can fold distance to be there
By your side and feel your tender embrace
But sweet soulmate I feel you everywhere
For we're one soul by fate; oh, what a grace!

I believe in magic, but that of love
I believe in the power of prayers
I know that true love transcends to above
And that God is generous beyond compare.

And when my arms won't hold you under the rain
With each heartbeat, my heart will be calling your name.
