I belong to you
As magnets belong to planets
As the moon belongs to poets
As daisies belong to spring
As birds belong to mornings

I belong to you
As sunrays belong to the sun
As tenderness belongs to mums
As depths belong to the sea
As future belongs to the horizon you see

I belong to you
As stillness belongs to the stary night
As freedom belongs to a merry kite
As beauty belongs to your heart
As love belongs to you, my sweetheart

I belong to you
As roots and trees are entwined
As thoughts belong to the mind
As eternity belongs to the soul
