I Bid Farewell To Poetry - Poem by David Keig

I bid farewell to poetry
I wrote a lot that helped me see
A little deeper in myself
I guess it helped my mental health
But now the time has come I think
To face real issues, not to sink
Into a tangled mass of rhyme
That deals with problems that are mine
So my time here is at a close
And maybe i shall turn to prose......
