I Bite My Lip Poem by Jain Bartlett

I Bite My Lip

I kept my mouth shut though I disagreed,
I am afraid if I say you will hurt me but no matter,
What I do you find a way to break through,
I do not agree,
I say then you punish me and lock me away,
I just want to be free,
There is a voice inside me but it just wont shut up,
Then finely I had just had enough,
I left; I fled, no more sleepless nights because you were watching me,
Instead I am now free,
No longer do I have to bite my lip,
Now you shall feel all stiff when you know I have gone and I will not be back at Dawn.
