'I Blame the Atoms,   They Form All Things.' Poem by Robert A Spencer

'I Blame the Atoms,   They Form All Things.'

I blame the atoms,
    they form all things,
From the clouds
in the sky,
     to the birds that sing.
They sway in the wind,
     and shine in the sun,
Creating the world,
    and all that is done.
         In the chaos,
  they bring peace,
Forming the beauty,
   that will never cease.
       From the storm's
fierce rage,
    to the calm after,
The atoms are what make
    life worth to capture.
         I'll curse the atoms,
     but give applause,
For the beauty they bring,
    and all that is cause.
For without them,   there'd be nothing to view,
Just blandness
and emptiness,
     nothing new.
    But with atoms,
   the world is a quest,
  With endless goals,
       much to invest.
   So I'll blame the atoms,
but also embrace, The world they've shaped,
and all it holds
for
our
fate's
  place.
