I Can See Poem by Julius NJIE DASSI

I Can See

Seeing you fail, though you had your veil
Provides satisfaction for we still moved in the rain,
Long are gone the days of self sufficience,
An act, which is bound to judge your conscience.
Now my eyes are open,
I realise how intimidating i am, because you are frightened,
I first asked for a dialogue,
After a long history of continuous exploitation,
Failure was at your door, ever since you installed your system,
Fed up, i rise and now my eyes are open,
I can see.

Things are changing around us and for now we observe, speculating on the outcome of such a ghost town.
