I can’t explain…
The feelings I have for you:
expansive, yet all encompassing.
the trust but vulnerability before you.
longing and desire.

My heart has not experienced such intensity or joy,
being scarred by a loss, a grieving,
a tearing apart which you helped mend
and so earned a dwelling place there.
I want to cry at how deep…

I’m afraid I’ll hurt you with my insecurities.
Like a moth to a flame I am drawn to you.
Is this Love – the pain of closeness?
I risk answering the call,
can you hear it too?
Bringing comfort, serenity,
bringing me home.
