I Can'T Help Myself Poem by Rainbow Ostrich

I Can'T Help Myself

Rating: 5.0

I come home from school
Tears streaming down my face
How could I be such a fool?
I say with such grace.

I pull up my sleeve
Just so I can relieve
All the stress inside my chest.

The cold metal cuts deep into my skin
Once isn't enough. I do it again.
I sit on the floor slicing away
All the pain from yesterday.

I can't control myself
I've gone to far
So much for being everyones perfect star.

As I wipe away all the blood and pain
I listen to the gentle rain.
After washing away all my pride
I just sit there, cry and try to die.
