I Can't Swallow Poem by Betul Y.

I Can't Swallow

Rating: 5.0

I'm so tired of suffering.
I chase after improving myself day after day.
In order not to offend anyone,
I approach their shitty conversations politely.
I don't talk behind anyone's back.
I can not approach any place or person anymore.
I'm so tired, I'm done, I'm exhausted.
Those who come and go one by one, those who always exist disappear suddenly.
I can't figure anyone out.
I'm tired of getting slapped by everyone.
I can't stand strong anymore.
Every time I say this,
I wake up like a jackpot in the morning and go back to work,
but it's very different at night.
Everything remains on the table...
What is done remains in my throat.
