I Come Running Poem by Don Nguyen

I Come Running

My Lord, I come running;
I'm busy in gathering all my love for them into one
To offer you at once
for Your love, which is anguishedly prolonged,
By which your heart is desperately hurt.
I come running, my Love,
Like the days of last summer.
Now listening to Delacrue's Believe,
All sweet memories are rushing back.
Those days were heaven, right my Lord?
Just You and me in our sweet abode,
Not even a care for the world.
But even though those days were precious,
I still wouldn't trade the time with my poets
Or my girls as I have affectionately called
Them, who are the love I now gather
All in my heart to you I shall offer when I get there.
Sweet Love, I know you are waiting; you do care
For our meeting, the Divine-human summit,
Where heaven and earth join, and when we meet.
Sorry I am late;
I am making up to you
By loving you in all my secret thoughts,
Which from now will be brought
To you in advance in a constant contact,
So that Your absence and my tardiness
Shall bring the greatest bliss
In the form of a distant kiss.
