I Dare To Love Poem by maleka thompson

I Dare To Love

Breathing, pull air into my lungs
Wanting the air you breathe to go within me
Loving is only the beginning what I want from you
In my mind I am knelling down to your heart
Flying away with beautiful wings god’s gift to me
Tears drops have no place in my desperation
I cannot deny Im in hesitation for I never loved before
I’ll try though I hear love stabs
I want this tasteful pain
The enchanting wounds it scar only dare not to love again
I take the challenge to love you and take the agony the comes along with the soul that it breaks
