I Do Know How You Feel Poem by Laura Healy

How are you today?
I didn't see you smile
you didn't look at me but I saw into your eyes
I saw your sadness deep within
I noticed your mood was very dim.
You didn't talk or make a sound you just sat on the lonely ground,
They never asked you how you felt..
did they even care?
did they know that you were there?
I was sitting right beside you
I could see your face full of despair,
I asked you how you were
but you didn't answer back
we were sitting there so sadly while they all had a good craic! Sometimes I DO know how you feel
although you may think im superficial and unreal.
I know what its like to be hurt
I know what its like to be broke.
Drowning..and drowning until you choke,
but I can be there for you and you can be there for me and the more we talk to each other the happier we'll be!
