I Don'T Exist Poem by Emily Reid

I Don'T Exist

Nobody sees me or hears what I say I float through this life with each passing day
Watching the sunrise, watching it fall
No one to share with, no one at all
I pass through a crowd, unnoticed, unseen
Everyone alive, just me in a dream
Screaming out loudly, can you see that I'm here
The silence is deafening, so crystal clear
Laughter in the distance, should I take the risk?
Or will they look right through me, just like I don't exist
Then the final morning, once more the sun will rise
I will close my eyes so slowly, escape in my demise
