I Don't Know Poem by David Pettus

I Don't Know

Rating: 3.5

I don't know

If you ask me how my day was
I'd tell you, I don't know
If you ask me why I have a book full of missing pages
I'd tell you, I don't know
If you ask me why the blank face expressions
I'd tell you, I don't know
If you ask me what I learned in school sessions
I'd tell you, I don't know
If you ask me if I found what you where looking for
I'd tell you, I don't know
If you ask me why I don't know
I'll never know the answer
If you don't know, And I don't know
Now together,
We can guess as complete strangers

If you don't know how to ask
I'd tell you how me day was
If you have a empty book
I'd fill in the missing pages
If you have a blank face
I'd carry your expressions
If you didn't learn in school
I'd tell you about wisdom in small sessions
If your asking to find me
I'd guide where you were looking for
If you ask me Why I don't know
The answer will never know
Know if you don't, And don't if you know
Strangers together,
Now we can guess as complete
