I Don'T Need You Poem by silke m..

I Don'T Need You

Baby, you’re the beat of my heart, but songs don’t less forever
I don’t need you to be my hero, I can save myself
I don’t need you to guide me, I can see for myself
I don’t need you to chair my pain, I can carry the burden
I don’t need you to defend me, I can fight for myself
I don’t need you to be my angel, I’ll find my own way to fly
I don’t need you to catch me, I don’t mind if I fall
I don’t need you to comfort me, I don’t mind being scared
I don’t need you to hold me, I’ll break free anyway

I need you to hold my hand, to love me, to see me
But I don’t need you to BE me
You like to be a guy in his fame
But somewhere inside, I’m just the same
So walk beside me, know me like a partner, a team-mate
And if you can’t doe that, there is no more faith…
Just wanna be me
So let me be
