I don't want my love to break you,
I don't want my love to hurt you,
I don't want my love to flow in your words,
I don't want my love to be your pain,
I don't want my love to be in your shadow,
For you to be a reminder of me

I want my love to give you strength,
To live away from me,
To never give up on love and life,
For if you do give up,
I will lose the one who was never meant for me,
I will lose who wasn't made for me
