I Don't Think I'm Depressed Poem by Eshal A

I Don't Think I'm Depressed

I don't think I'm depressed
I may sit alone at night crying
Or think about what it feels to be dying
But I don't think I'm depressed
Because when you search it on Wikipedia it says
"persistent feeling of sadness"
PERSISTANT
I don't think I'm depressed
Because when I go out to school I forget
I forget what it feels like to want to die
I smile, laugh, and yell with my friends until it all comes back
And my smiles soon turn forced
My laugh rings in my ears
And i worry about my voice
I don't think im depressed
But the scars on my thighs dont lie
They want me to make more and more until eventually I die
I don't think I'm depressed so please tell me
What am I?
