I don't wanna preach today.
I just wanna fly away.
Talk of nonsensical things.
That make your ears ring.

I wanna talk about silly stuff
And do nothing but laugh.
I wanna laugh at silly jokes
With all these folks.

I wanna sing happy songs
All day long.
I don't wanna speak of war
neither law.

I just wanna love
Like a dove.
Celebrate being alive
Without nine lives.

I wanna defy rules
And accept no orders.
I wanna wipe the flaws
Of the floor.

I wanna see
What's in the sea.
I wanna scream
And eat ice-cream.

I wanna dance
Till the brink of dawn.
I don't want to mourn.

I wanna cry
Without being asked why.
I wanna lay awake
By the lake.

I don't wanna preach today
I just wanna fly away!
