I, Enigma - Poem by Sam Newman Voss

You think you know me
You think you see...
All there is inside of me...
But just when you...
Have looked away
I plunge your mind in disarray
You cry, you scream...
You beg for more...
You fall to your knees
And pound the floor
And then at once...
You rise to find...
Nothing but you is left behind
Except for maybe
The floor you grind
And an image now etched
Upon your mind
