I Escape To 'The End Of The Universe' Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Escape To 'The End Of The Universe'

I ESCAPE TO ‘THE END OF THE UNIVERSE’

I escape to 'The End of the Universe’
‘What will be with us all? ’ I ask again and again.

But I do not answer what will be with my own children
And family in the years ahead.

It is easier to think of billions of years ahead
When I know it is not for me to do anything about it.

But in the real life
The few years left to me now
What will, what can I do
But pray for God’s Help
To keep my own family alive?
