I Feel Pretty - Poem by Justine Tennant

I like the face
that looks back at me
we are allies
my reflection and me
but when I see myself
in transparency
I guess I see what others see
and I don't like the imagery
so we made a pact
my reflection and me
to be content in our own
reverie
