I Get You - Poem by Federico del Corazón
What an escape to hold a treasure like you in my embrace.
To know next to me you feel safe.
I don't know what I want
I just know what I found
Have you ever felt that way
Can I be your escape
Not having to perform but relax and laugh and enjoy the view.
No rules, no lies
it's just you and I and the truth.
I welcome the opportunity
to be close to you.
I would adore you,
run my fingers through your hair,
bite a little on your lip as I kissed you.
I would stand next to you,
not in front of you, not behind you
I would get to know you.
Because 'I get you'
