I'm here lying in bed
Thinking about all the things you said,
You told me you loved me,
You said you'd see me,
When the time was right.
But when is that?
Is there a time
You never called just to say I love you.
You never wrote
I learned; nothing's new.
I remember the last time you stopped by,
But when you left,
I thought I would die.
Now I'm strong, I don't need you
To tell me I'm alright.
I don't know what else to do, since you walked out the door.
It's like me you don't even care for
You could have just told me, baby girl,
